Get to know your Intructors:

Mike Maglothin
Mike Maglothin took up dancing about 10 years ago. What he took up as a hobby quickly became a passion. It's a social event and he says "the most fun he's ever had". He competed in Country Dancing competitions for 5 of those years winning 5 World Titles as an amateur. Mike comes to Big Texas to share his love of dance and to get as many people as possible up on the dance floor and having fun!

Ben Schielack:
Ben is a native Houstonian (rare now days). His first lessons were with Patsy Swayze, many years ago. He returned to dance in 1989. Social Two Step and Polka were a priority, followed by country Waltz, East Coast Swing, and later, Whip. Cha Cha joined the skill set and were followed by West Coast Swing. Ballroom Waltz, Fox Trot and Rumba followed, and finally Tango began to fall into place. Dancing has changed his life, and much like Mike, he loves to share his knowledge with anyone that wants to learn the pleasures of dance.

Private lessons are available with both Mike and Ben. If interested, see them before or after class.
